This is the mouth of Bilene Lagoon...beautiful place but this was not a good day...2 tourists was swept out to sea and drowned. When will people learn that this is Africa and help is not so readily available...the guys were out in sea for a few hours before help came!

My First Blog

I have been in Mozambique for 3 years now and it has been life unusual.
As a good friend told me, his stint working in mozambique has been 'the best of times and the worst of times'...and I think that is the best way to describe my familys experience here. I thought a blog would be a good way to share our experiences/highlights/lowlights of our stay in this truly unique place.
